The Law Offices of Robert L. Bachman have been in existence since January, 1984.

The firm specializes in matters relating to the construction, engineering, and architectural fields, including the rendering of contract, litigation, labor, and general corporate advice.

The firm appears in all the jurisdictions with the State of California, including Superior, Appellate, and Federal District Courts. The firm is active with several contractor organizations in Orange County and nationally, which includes the Construction Financial Management Association, Associated General Contractors and the Engineering Contractors Association.

Robert L. Bachman is the principal of the firm. A native Californian, Mr. Bachman was born in Los Angeles, California in 1949. His preparatory education was at the University of California, Irvine, and the California State University at Fullerton. Mr. Bachman received a Juris Doctorate Degree in 1973 from the University of California, Davis, where he wrote for the Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif, Honor Society. He was admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court in 1973, and before the United States Supreme Court in 1984. Mr. Bachman was admitted to practice before the Nevada Supreme Court and U.S. District Court in Nevada in 1996.

Mr. Bachman worked for Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps from 1973 to 1975. For a ten (10) year period from 1974 through 1984, Mr. Bachman has served in the capacity of Corporate Counsel and Vice President; and, the General Counsel for various publicly traded corporations in the engineering and architectural fields, including VTN Corporation; Ultrasystems, Incorporated; and, Marmac to name a few.

Mr. Bachman has successfully tried cases at the Superior Court level in arbitration and appealed cases before the State and Federal Appellate Courts, including the California Supreme Court's decision in Valley Circle Estates vs. VTN Consolidated, Inc., et al., and the Nevada Supreme Court's Decision of In re:.The Resort at Summerlin, et als.,

Mr. Bachman is currently on the Board of Directors of the Orange County Chapter of the Associated General Contractors of California; and has been a Director of the Construction Financial Management Association.

In addition to the foregoing, Mr. Bachman is a member of the State Bar of California; American Bar Association; the Orange County Bar Association; and The Pacific Club.
